The rise of AI-named companies in France

The same study as the UK and Ireland, run on the French company register (INSEE SIRENE). Where AI-named companies are forming, how fast, and how they line up against Anthropic's most-exposed occupations.

Two France-specific caveats. (1) The French register we hold is a live snapshot, so older years undercount companies since dissolved: read the raw count climb as directional, and lean on the share trend. (2) France's denominator is SIRENE establishments, a broader universe than companies, so France's share LEVEL is not comparable to clean company registers (use only its trend). For context, official INSEE figures show true French company (sociétés) formation rose only about 1.42x from 2018 to 2024, while AI-named formation rose far faster, so AI is rising as a share, not riding a general boom.
